Brothers From Another Mother

Dawson and I were over at Chuck and Suzi's house last night and we were all laughing a lot at the funny things Ander and Dawson were doing. One of them would get up on the couch and then the other would follow him and they would hug and wrestle with each other. Then they would move to the recliner and do the same thing, and then the floor. They were so cute together. Ander chased Dawson and hugged him from behind while Dawson tried to run away from him. Dawson can say Ander's name now but he only says it when he and I are alone together. Ander is very maternal around Dawson sometimes so I know he'll make a good big brother when he gets another sibling. The kids were having so much fun that Dawson didn't want to leave. I'm glad they are getting to be so close and have such a good time together.

Enjoying the Fall Weather

We took a little walk yesterday afternoon and it was so nice outside! The trees in our yard are all changing colors and the leaves are starting to fall off of them, which is kind of sad because that means that winter is just around the corner.
I wish it could stay Autumn all year round.

Very Angry Baby

This is what happens when Dawson doesn't take a long enough nap during the day... He was really close to turning into the Incredible Hulk at one point.

Oven Drawer Fun

There doesn't seem to be a reason to buy a lot of toys when your child is just as happy playing in the oven drawer. I can't seem to keep Dawson out of it and find him playing around in there at least once a day.
WORD OF CAUTION: For those of you who are considering buying stainless steel appliances, you really should consider the "fingerprint-less" ones if you have young kids. I have to clean Dawson's fingerprints off the dishwasher, fridge and oven half a dozen times a day. It almost makes me want my white appliances back! When we bought the new appliances Dawson was only a few months old and we just didn't think that far ahead to the time when he would be touching and getting into everything. Oh well. Live and learn.
