40th Birthday Party

My friend Natalie is turning 40 tomorrow so her husband spoiled her and threw a big birthday party last night to celebrate. Now that Dawson is walking, it was really hard to chat with people because I was chasing him almost the entire time we were at the party. It was still a lot of fun, though, and I'm glad we were able to share in the festivities. While we were there I gave Dawson a sip of my bottled water and he became obsessed with drinking the entire bottle. I kept having to give him sips of water or he would start throwing a tantrum. I don't know how much water he actually swallowed because he kept dribbling it out of his mouth and down the front of his shirt until it was completely soaked. Luckily I had brought another shirt with me (must have had a premonition) so I was able to change him into a dry shirt. In the middle of changing his shirt he found a football on the ground and it became his new obsession. He carried it all over the yard until he spotted another water bottle and wanted to empty it all over himself. I feel like the terrible twos are already starting and he's only 14 months old!
Anyway, Happy Birthday Nat! Hope you enjoy your day tomorrow. You deserve it!

Welcome to my world! Do you see why I'm a scatter brain and I never feel like I can focus on anything?! It sounds like he's just getting started with the terrible/terrific two's! Oh you just wait!!!! It's only gets crazier!!!!

Thanks Robyn I had a great birthday! It made turning 40 not so bad. I was so happy to have so many friends and family come to my party. I have a wonderful husband to spoil me so!

It was fun to see Dawson running around and getting into everything. He wasn't shy after the first 15 minutes!
