Lunch at the Dodo

My friend Sharon played peek-a-boo with Dawson which really kept him entertained for awhile

I met some friends from my old job (P5) today for lunch at the Dodo, which just re-opened in Sugarhouse a few months ago. We all get together for lunch every month or so and it's been a great way to keep in touch. Once they seated us (we had about a half hour wait) we all had a great time munching and catching each other up with our news. Dawson is at the age where it's getting a little hard to take him to restaurants because he tried to walk and crawl all over the restaurant while we were waiting for our table and then kept trying to get out of his high chair once we were seated. He's a very busy little guy and always has to be on the move. Food only keeps him entertained for so long and then he just wants to be down on the floor and on the go. It was still a lot of fun though, and it was good to see everyone again (and get out for lunch at the same time).
